What defines us as Canadians?

Apathy is Boring sought to address this question in a short documentary series we created with Juno-winning filmmaker Anthony von Seck. The short films feature personal stories from actor Tom Green, musician Amy Millan (Stars), music educator David Hodges and singer Mariame Hasni discussing how their Canadian identity has shaped their art.

We launched the videos on March 25th, 2015, to a captive audience of young Montrealers and community leaders.

The screening was followed by a workshop activity, where participants were asked to identify an issue they care about, discuss it with other participants and together, develop ideas for shaping Canada's future.

This event marks the beginning of a campaign by Apathy is Boring to inspire young Canadians to have the conversations that matter.
