Projects & Campaigns

150 Years Young

As a signature initative project for Canada 150, we're dressing down democracy by sharing the diverse ways millennials are having an impact in their communities through creative interventions.

In partnership with Forum Jeunesse de L'Ile de Montreal, 19 youth ambassadors are consulting their peers across Montreal culminating in a youth summit that will inform the City of Montreal's next youth strategy.

Strategic Voting workshops

We designed Civic Participation Workshops that both engaged 180 youth and served as a research tool into young people's perceptions of strategic voting.

Watch: 5MMV chalk board

Campaign: 2015 Federal Election

Apathy is Boring's federal election campaign #5MMV hinged on the 5.5 million millennials who were eligible to vote. The campaign focused on raising awareness about the power for youth across the country to mobilize and together, create meaningful impact in their communities and Canada at large.

Overall, we reached over 3 422 000 voters in only 78 days.

Elections dialogue in Alberta

In partnership with Elections Alberta, we're working over four years to engage youth 16-25 who are not pursing post secondary in conversations about elections and civic engagement.

Engaging Indigenous youth

With the National Association of Friendship Centers, Apathy is Boring evaluated different mobilization strategies in the Grande Prairie Municipal election, the Quebec Provincial election and the Canadian Federal election, to engage more Indigenous youth as voters.
